William C. (Bill) Kirts, 89, Rt. 4, Attica, died Saturday (May 23, 1970) at Alward Nursing Home in Attica, where he had been a patient for two days; however, he had been in ill health the past year. He was born near Rainsville Aug. 29, 1880, the son of James and Rosetta Beavers Kirts. He had lived in the Bi-County area all his life. He was married July 8, 1900, at Williamsport to Millie Pearson. He was a farmer. Surviving with his wife are two sons, Clifford and Clair, both of Rt. 4, Attica; one brother, Frank, of Crawfordsville; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services Tuesday in the DeSutter Chapel with Rev. Norman Able officiating. Interment in Rainsville Cemetery. -- typed by Barbara B
